Most models feature a smooth 6-speed automatic transmission, which enables an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 29 mpg in the city, 40 mpg on the highway, and 33 mpg combined. Performance seekers will want to consider the GLI, which features a 2.0-liter turbocharged and direct-injection TSI® inline-4 engine and a choice of a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 2026 Jetta offers a clean, low-profile front-end styling. The front also features LED headlights and an LED light bar that extends the LED daytime running lights across the lower edge of the grille on Sport and SEL models. A standard light bar connecting the taillights adds a touch of elegance to the rear. Each trim level has its own unique wheel design, ranging in size from 16 to 18 inches. The dashboard of the Jetta was completely redesigned for 2025 and remains fresh for the 2026 model year.
