Meet The Different 2026 Volkswagen SUV Models

Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport

Volkswagen is one of the few companies with a lineup of crossovers and SUVs powered by both gasoline and electricity. From small to large, you have a group of vehicles priced from $27,000 to $60,000, loaded with options. Let’s take a look at the great choices you have.

Volkswagen Taos Front End Driving

Meet The 2026 Taos

The least expensive option in the Volkswagen crossover range is the 2026 Taos, which was fully redesigned for the 2025 model year. Available in S, SE, SE Black, and SEL, starting from $27,295, the Taos is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 174 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, and features an 8-speed automatic gearbox that is both smart and quick. Front-wheel drive is standard, with 4Motion all-wheel drive optional across all trim levels. The EPA says drivers will get 28 mpg city and 36 mpg highway, while 4Motion Taos models achieve 25 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.

Volkswagen Taos Interior

Great Standard Tech Features

Standard on the S trim is an 8.0-inch Digital Cockpit gauge cluster display and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while SE and SEL models get Digital Cockpit Pro with a 10.25-inch display. The SE and SEL models also get standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Volkswagen Taos Rear Seats

Larger Than You Think

The Taos has plenty of interior volume with 28 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats when equipped with FWD and 25 with AWD. With the rear seats folded, AWD models have 60.2 cu.ft. of space, while FWD models have 65.9.

Volkswagen Tiguan Side View

The 2026 Tiguan

Sitting just above the Taos, and the best-selling Volkswagen in the lineup, is the freshly redesigned Tiguan. As an all-new vehicle for 2025, the 2026 Tiguan continues and adds a new engine to the mix. With a starting price of $32,280, the Tiguan is priced right in the middle of mid-trim Taos models. This gives buyers good vehicles to choose from if they need extra size or would prefer something smaller with extra options. Buyers can choose between the S, SE, SE R-Line Black, and SEL R-Line Turbo, and like the Taos, the Tiguan comes standard with FWD. However, all-wheel drive is an option on all trim levels except the SEL R-Line Turbo, where it’s standard.

Volkswagen Tiguan Interior

Powering The Tiguan

Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that delivers 201 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque with FWD, or 221 lb-ft with all-wheel drive. New for 2026, though, is the SEL R-Line Turbo, which takes that turbo engine and turns it up to 10, delivering 258 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. All models get an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission that is as smooth as butter. The EPA says the Tiguan FWD models will get up to 26 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, while AWD models will achieve 22 city and 30 highway. The hot SEL R-Line Turbo takes off just one mpg from the highway mileage.

Volkswagen Tiguan Infotainment Screen

Fantastic Technology

Inside, the Tiguan gets a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro instrument cluster and a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, all as standard. The top-line SEL R-Line Turbo comes with a 15-inch system as standard. With the redesign, all models get Speech with A.I. voice assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 15-watt wireless charging pad, and four 45-watt USB-C fast charging ports with two more available as an option.

Volkswagen Tiguan Rear Cargo Space

Plenty of Cargo Space

Behind the second row of seats, the Tiguan offers 33.8 cubic feet of cargo space, which grows to 69.8 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded.

Volkswagen Atlas Front View

Here Comes The 2026 Volkswagen Atlas Models

Next in the lineup are the pair of Atlas models: the three-row Atlas and the two-row coupe-like Atlas Cross Sport. Both come standard with front-wheel drive and offer 4Motion all-wheel drive as an option.

Volkswagen Atlas Interior

Pricing and Trim Levels

The full-size Volkswagen Atlas starts at $40,785, and the two-row Atlas Cross Sport starts at $39,775. Both models are available in SE, SE with Technology, SEL, and SEL Premium R-Line. But going with the larger Atlas gets you the Peak Edition trim, a more off-road-ready, focused SUV. But the Atlas Cross Sport gets its own special trim, the SEL R-Line Black.

Volkswagen Atlas

Engine, Power, and Torque

All Atlas models are powered by the well-regarded 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that delivers 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, and is mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.

Volkswagen Atlas Rear Cargo Storage

Cargo Space

Behind the rear seats of the Atlas Cross Sport, owners will have a rather larger 40.3 cubic feet of cargo space that expands to 77.6 cu.ft, when the seats are folded. This makes it one of the largest in its class, just like the Taos and Tiguan. However, the larger Atlas offers even more, with 20.6 cubes behind the third row that expand to 55.6 when the third row is folded. Folding down all seats gives a massive 96.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity, once again making it one of the largest in its class.

Volkswagen ID.4 Front Side View

The Volkswagen ID.4 Would Like a Word

Last, but certainly not least, is the all-electric Volkswagen ID.4, which has received multiple updates and upgrades over the last couple of years, making it one of the more well-rounded EV SUVs on the market. With a starting price of $46,570, the ID.4 is available in a single-motor rear-wheel-drive or dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. Pro and Pro S rear-wheel drive models feature 282 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque, while dual-motor AWD models (AWD Pro, AWD Pro S, AWD Pro S Plus) get 335 horsepower and around 500 lb-ft of torque.

Volkswagen ID.4 Interior

What Car and Driver Says About the ID.4

In their latest review of the ID.4, Car and Driver said the updated vehicle is great, saying, “... in the cut and thrust of urban driving, the acceleration , combined with its immediate throttle response, makes you feel invincible ... The ride and handling remain very good in city and suburban driving. Combined with the quiet and buttery smooth powertrain, the ID.4 feels very refined.”

Volkswagen ID.4 Rear Side View

Interior Tech

All models feature a standard digital 5.3-inch ID.Cockpit display that’s attached to the steering column that shows the vehicle’s speed, range, navigation information, and the like. A 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system is also standard and offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a wireless charger in the center console.

Plenty of Driving Range

There are many pros to getting an ID.4, such as not having to worry about the ebb and flow of gas prices amid global and economic turmoil. Charging at home saves time and money, making your morning commutes that much easier. On a single charge, RWD ID.4 models have an EPA-estimated range of 291 miles, and AWD models have an EPA-estimated range of 263 miles.

Volkswagen ID.4 Rear View

The ID.4 Is Easy to Charge

When you need to charge on the go, Volkswagen offers a 2-year Electrify America Pass+ membership that saves you about 25% on charging at any of Electrify America’s stations nationwide. When charging at 175-kWh chargers, the ID.4 can charge from 10-80% in 30 minutes. ID.4 owners can also take advantage of 25,000 Tesla Superchargers around the country, too, thanks to an included NACS DC fast charger adapter.

Great Cargo Space

Just like other VW SUVs, the ID.4 has plenty of cargo space: 30.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 64.2 cubic feet when folded, giving it similar space to the gas-only Tiguan.

All VW SUVs Have Amazing Standard Safety Features

No matter which Volkswagen you buy, you will be treated to an advanced suite of safety equipment via IQ.Drive. Each model includes features such as Forward Collision Warning, Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross-Traffic Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane-Centering Assistance, Lane Keeping Assistance, Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go, Post-Collision Braking System, Travel Assist, and more.

You also want to know the vehicle’s history before you look at it. Electric vehicles from 2019 and newer get an added 3 years and 36,000 miles on their Comprehensive Limited Warranty. As an added layer of peace of mind, you also get 2 years of 24-Hour Roadside Assistance included in your Certified Pre-Owned purchase. 2020 GMC Yukon XL

Featured Used SUVs Available Now

The blog post is to inform you of some of the compelling SUVs available, as of this writing, in the Sisbarro Volkswagen used inventory. 2020 GMC Yukon XL SLT - Stock A18584A $19,979 This is, quite simply, the SUV that can do it all. It can carry three rows of adult passengers and fit all their luggage. In fact, Car and Driver found that they could fit 13 carry-on bags in the 39.3 cubic feet of space behind the third row. Lower all the seats, and you will find 94.7 cubic feet, making the Yukon a warehouse on wheels unmatched by any other SUV. The 5.3 V8 produces an unstressed 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with the traction optimization of four-wheel drive, this rig will tow up to 6,000 pounds. The interior is awash in black leather and features captain’s chairs in the second row, giving it a spacious seating capacity of 7. Up front, the driver is treated to an extensive set of analog gauges, and while the center screen isn’t as large as on new models, that leaves plenty of convenient physical controls. The mileage is what brings this model to an affordable price of under $20K, and it is likely that the miles are low-stress highway miles, as this model appears very clean with little wear inside and out. Look at the Highlighted Features, and you will find a long list of desirable items, including a power tailgate, sunroof, and even both heated and cooled front seats. If you need lots of space and like lots of features, this model is a must-see! 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek - Stock A18611 $35,997 This not-so-used 25,193-mile Pathfinder is an excellent alternative to buying new, which would cost you at least $10,000 more. On the practical side, you have three rows of seats for family and friends. This is accentuated by unusually large rear door openings and second-row seats that can flip forward for third-row access, even with a child seat installed. Behind the rear seats is 16.6 cubic feet of cargo space, which expands to 45 cubic feet with the third-row seats down and then almost doubles to 80.5 cubic feet when the second-row seats are folded flat. If that still isn’t enough, the roof rack that is standard on the Rock Creek model can hold up to 220 pounds. The Rock Creek is the most off-road-focused of the Pathfinder model line, featuring an extra 0.63 inches of ground clearance and 265/60R18 Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires on great-looking 18-inch two-tone wheels. The two-tone theme extends to the body with a black roof over the Pearl White exterior. This Pathfinder is powered by a 3.5-liter V6, and because it is a Rock Creek, it has more power than other Pathfinders, with 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, all without the fuss of turbocharging. The power is managed by a 9-speed ZF-sourced transmission before being routed to all four wheels. Fuel mpg is 21 city / 23 highway and 21 combined. The thick sidewall tires smooth out road irregularities. Peruse the highlighted features list, and you will find the Rock Creek very well-equipped with leather seats, smartphone mirroring, and a full set of safety and driver-assist technologies. This will be a great alternative to a new Pathfinder. Visit Sisbarro to see it for yourself. 2023 Ford Expedition King Ranch Stock A18610 $57,997 Another full-size 3-row SUV, this model is a perfect example of buying used to get more, and at 27,671 miles, it isn’t all that used. The words “King Ranch” tell the story: this model has almost everything, starting with the beautiful two-tone Java brown leather seats and interior trim, with the King Ranch branding on each seatback. Look at the highlighted feature list, and you will find that almost everything you can think of is included in this model, including a 360-degree camera system, power tailgate, tow package, sunroof, safety and driver-assist features, and much more. In fact, it doesn’t even mention the Bang & Olufsen 22-speaker audio system, which simply must be heard to be believed and is controlled by a 15.5-inch center touchscreen. Taking into account the full array of safety and driver-assistance features, there is hardly any technology this vehicle doesn’t have. You might expect a vehicle of this size to be powered by a V-8, but instead, this Expedition is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. That exceeds the GM 5.3 V-8 in horsepower and even their 6.2-liter V-8 in torque. Paired with a 10-speed transmission, the model also exceeds GM models, with a towing capacity of 9,300 pounds and a payload capacity of over 1,750 pounds. You can’t even purchase a brand-new Expedition for $57,997, much less a King Ranch model, which starts at over $84K. Whoever buys this one is going to be really happy about it, so maybe that should be you. These three, along with many more great SUVs, can be found in the Sisbarro Volkswagen used inventory in Las Cruces, NM. Check our site and pay us a visit!

2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz front View in White

ID. Buzz Overnight Test Drive Offer

You have seen the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz around town. You may be curious about how it drives, how practical it truly is, and how it can fit your lifestyle. Your curiosity is welcome at Sisbarro Volkswagen. Sometimes you look at a vehicle and wonder if it’s the right one for you. So that you can better evaluate the ID.Buzz, we are offering overnight test drives of this innovative electric minivan to you. The 2026 ID.Buzz is highly acclaimed as a great passenger minivan, boasting a versatile cargo area and zero-emission driving. First of all, the look itself is charming. It is the intersection of the past and future with a design that brings you back to the days of the Microbus. A large, friendly face welcomes you, with the Volkswagen logo displayed prominently up front and center. The spacious interior is inviting, perfect for bringing your family along for a ride. They can see out of the large glass windows along the side while peeking out of the big windshield up front. You have two sliding doors that open wide for access to the third row of seats. Plus, the liftgate opens wide and high for excellent cargo management. There are two collapsible bins located underneath the parcel shelf, making your grocery shopping a breeze. In other minivans, you just drop your bags in the recessed area behind the rearmost seats. No guarantee of any security with groceries spilled throughout that cargo hold. Not in the 2025 ID.Buzz. Neatly store your grocery bags in the bins, and they’re secure. No spills, no mess. You can expand the cargo space by removing the bins and the parcel shelf, then folding the third-row seats over and rolling them out of the 2025 ID.Buzz. The second-row seats also fold down for added space. All told, there are 145.5 cubic feet of usable space. With all three rows of seats up, you will notice how easily it accommodates six to seven people inside the passenger area of the 2025 ID.Buzz. The second row can be adjusted for rake and recline. They can also fold and slide away for easy access to the third row. Adults can find a comfortable seat in every row. You do have a choice of a single-motor model, which drives the rear wheels, just like the older Microbus and Vanagon of your past. This motor has more power than any Volkswagen van ever sold in the U.S.A. – rated at 292 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. You also have the option of the 4Motion all-wheel drive system, which features two motors. The additional front axle-mounted motor helps provide traction in wet, snowy, and icy conditions. Charging the 2025 ID. Buzz is simple. Just plug it in. If you have an EV charger at home, the battery pack will be fully charged when you leave the house the next morning. Try out the DC Fast Charging at a local charging station. Notice how quickly it can recover energy into the battery. No need to stop at a gas station – unless it has a charging station there. These are just a few things to look for when you take a 2025 ID.Buzz home for your overnight test drive. You’ll soon find that there’s even more to love about our innovative electric minivan. If you would like to schedule your overnight test drive of the 2025 ID.Buzz, contact us at Sisbarro Volkswagen and take one home today. If you like it, let’s talk about making one yours for everyday use.
