A center eight-inch display houses many interactive functions, from Wireless App-Connect with smartphone mirroring to native navigation found on the Discover Media system on the SEL. 

When it comes to safety, the 2026 Taos delivers the standard suite of IQ.DRIVE driver-assistance features, keeping you protected from harm anywhere – even parked. While we think it’s a great compact SUV, the editors at J. D. Power evaluated a 2026 Taos SEL. They said that it was “enjoyable to drive, with good handling and a smooth ride, making it a great option for road trips or daily chores.” In addition, they stated that “with a full suite of [driver assistance features] and a spacious interior with good utility, the Taos holds its own in a very competitive market segment.”
